I've noticed the cyclops has little to no purpose right now. But again, I ask you: What's the point if it will use up all of your copper by gobbling through powercells? I mean heck, I can just as easily build a base on the edge of where I'm gathering raw resources, and it won't cost me half of what the Cyclops would. Yes, I know it can act as a mobile base for storage purposes. Yes, I understand you can put a Fabricator in the Cyclops. I've never had to replace my Seamoth powercell, and I've had the same one since I first bought the game. The Seamoth is perfectly economic because of two reasons: The moonpool, and the solar-energy module which makes it have unlimited energy if its in the daylight. why bother having all of the depth-strength modules in it if most of the 400+ Meter depth areas are almost exclusively in narrow crevices and Seamoth-sized holes?ģ) Unrenewable Energy.
Okay, this one is only a minor gripe, but. Power Cells are expensive to make, and this thing can run through about a quarter of its energy with just a mild jaunt through the zone, even with the efficiency module.Ģ) Its Size. This thing goes through power-cells like Vegas goes through marriage certificates. And if there is one that I haven't listed, please let me know?
